This March, Hyundai Hope on Wheels is celebrating 20 years of raising money for pediatric cancer research. The program began in 1988, in Boston MA, and supports children’s hospitals throughout the US with research grants designed to improve care and work towards cures for children fighting cancer.
HHOW’s commitment to increasing awareness and improving the quality of life for pediatric cancer survivors has raised over $145 million dollars in supporting the fight for a cure. Their annual campaign theme for 2018 is, “20 years of saving lives and creating hope, in the fight to end childhood cancer”. The launch event took place March 29th, and featured Soledad O’Brien, and musical performances by several Broadway stars, and the Broadway Youth Ensemble, and was held in conjunction with the preview night of the New York International Auto Show.
